This spring version will go nicely with the other fawn image. Got some work to do yet.

6 x 6" Ink started! This will be number 4 of 6 planned. Quick little bunnies! So Cut! So sweet! I can't help it!
Finished! 18 x 18"
So this is actually day 3 of the rendering. As I sit in my warm studio, other more hardy birders are out in the cold reporting sightings at Cleveland Hopkins Airport!
The beginnings of my Snowy! A tribute to the beautiful animal we have the privilege of having visit our area this time of year...Day 1
It will be 18 x 18"
Played with some of the directional lines. I gave the background a cool cast. Then it just needed the berries!
Here are the reference photos I have chosen to work with. I have collected many over the seasons. It is now December and it only seems fitting to add the Cardinals to my galleries! I feel blessed to have Mr. and Mrs visit my feeders year round!
Then I create a layout and do a simple drawing on a colored ground.
Tonal details are added and some highlights to give depth. At this point most of the work is done but I can not resist adding color!
